General Details
The Farm Assistant will help Farming with Friends staff with farm operations, including crop production and sales from our farm store and market tables.
This position is 10-15 hours per week, April 1 - October 31. Some weekend availability required. Must be 18 years old, background check required. The position is part-time without benefits.
Tasks
- The Farm Assistant will help with:
- Crop production - plant, feed, water, manage pests and diseases, cultivate, and harvest.
- Farm store and markets - customer service, product sales and explanation, checkout, and bagging.
Necessary Skills
- Interest in farming activities
- Strong work ethic
- Works well with others
- Love of outdoors

Farm Hand
General Details
The Farm Hand will assist with farm operations including garden, facilities, equipment, and in-person farm store and market table management. Individuals with disabilities highly encouraged to apply. The position is part-time without benefits.
Tasks
- The Farm Assistant will help with:
- Garden - feed, water, and protect.
- Facilities & Equipment - maintain and improve barns, machines, fencing, roads, and mobile infrastructure.
- In-Person Farm Store and Market Tables - customer service, product sales and explanation, checkout, and bagging.
